Provider checklist

Choose a med-spa provider with more confidence

A beautiful website can show a style. It cannot replace license verification, a careful consultation, and a clear follow-up plan.

Verify the person, not only the business

Ask for the full name and professional license of the person evaluating you and the person performing the treatment. Those may be different people. Check the appropriate Texas licensing board and review any public disciplinary history.

Ask about experience with the exact plan

General experience is not the same as experience with a particular product, device, treatment area, skin tone, or complication. Ask direct questions and expect clear answers.

Know who is available afterward

Before treatment, ask who takes calls after hours, how urgent problems are handled, whether follow-up is included, and when you should seek emergency care.

Look for pressure

You should have time to understand the plan, risks, alternatives, cost, and consent documents. Be cautious when a discount expires before you can review the information or when your questions are dismissed.

Keep your information private

Ask how photographs and intake information are stored. Permission to use your image for marketing should be separate, specific, and optional.

Make room for your priorities

Write down the questions you do not want to forget

A short checklist helps you compare answers after the consultation, when names, prices, and recommendations can otherwise blur together.
